Collect and store your information

When collecting information for assignment record key details including:

  • Title and author
  • Where you found it
  • For some assignments you may need to record how you found it e.g. what databases and search terms you used. Use a search log to record where and how you have searched for information.
  • Make sure that you have everything you need to create a reference for it in your assignment. See our APA referencing guide to find out more.
