Study for Success
This study skills guide has been written for WITT students and covers the following areas: time management, essay writing, assessments, note taking, referencing
Technology Tips
There are some new technologies out there that might help with your research and note taking. They are new, which is to say, they can be buggy or limited, but in combination, they can be very helpful. Experiment with them, but don't necessarily depend on them.
- WordTalk
Free text-to-speech plugin for Microsoft Word. This programme will allow you to choose to have your text or assignment read to you right off the screen. - Evernote
Enables you to capture screens, photos, etc. and save them to a little library. Works well with iPhones and Android.
- Zotero
This will organise your citations and spit them out in APA. You will still need to check the final result to make sure that it matches the way WITT uses APA.
Welcome to WITT Library
