Friends of WITT Library membership is available for members of the community as approved by the Library Manager.
Membership is personal and non-transferable. Corporate membership is not available.
Applications can be filled out at the Lending and i Desk at WITT Library.
Applicants will be required to provide proof of:
On application you will be issued with a Friends of WITT Library card. You must show this card whenever you wish to use the library services. Please note that there will be a $20.00 replacement cost if you lose your card.
Your membership will allow you to borrow from the WITT Library only.
You may borrow up to 5 items at one time.
Items are issued for 3 weeks.
You cannot renew items on loan to you.
Please note: Fines apply to late returns. You will not be able to borrow material until outstanding fines have been paid.
You may access the Library databases on campus only. Please ask the staff at the Lending and i Desk for access information.
There is no provision for IT services, including photocopying and printing, or any logon access for Friends of the Library.
The interloan service is not available to Friends of the Library. If you are a member of Puke Ariki or another public library, you will be able to use the interloan service at that library.
Please note that Library staff do not provide a reference service for Friends of WITT Library
The Learning Centre is not available for Friends of WITT Library
