Welcome to the health clinic

The Health Clinic provides a wide range of free health services to all students by appointment.

The WITT doctor works seven hours per week and is available for students.  If you are not a student and need to see the WITT Doctor, please ask. 

The doctor's clinic hours are:

Tuesday 11am - 1pm
Wednesday 11am - 1pm
Thursday 11am - 1pm

The campus nurse hours are: Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.00pm for students and WITT kaimahi.  Drop in at your convenience.  To make an appointment ring or email the clinic.

WITT Medical Clinic is free for:

  • ACC.
  • B12 injections.
  • Blood pressure checks.
  • Blood tests forms.
  • Cervical smears.
  • Depo injections.
  • Early medical abortion
  • Emergency contraception (morning after pill).
  • First aid.
  • Free condoms.
  • Green prescriptions for Sport Taranaki.
  • Hearing tests.
  • Heart health checks.
  • Immunisation.
  • Insertion and removal of Mirena and Jaydess (IUDs).
  • Insertion and removal of Jaydelle (contraceptive rods).
  • Patches and gum for quitting smoking.
  • Pregnancy tests.
  • Sexual health checks.
  • Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) swabs.
  • Urine infections.  
  • Wound dressings.
