w Chat online with a librarian during our open hours.

w Book an appointment  with a librarian to find resources for your study.

w Browse our info guides in areas from Arts & design, Business to Nursing & health, and Te reo Māori.

w Book a Learning Centre appointment with a Learning Advisor for help with time management, writing assignments and APA referencing.

w Drop in at lunchtime Monday to Friday between 12-1 for a 10 minute session with a Learning Advisor. First in, first served.

Technology

w We can add credit to your ID card for printing and photocopying using eftpos.

w Use our printers to print, photocopy or scan. Paper sizes includes A3 and A4. Colour and black and white printing is available.

w Print from your phone or device using Webprint.

w Load Office 365 to your laptop. Instructions are on page 26 of the Witt Student Handbook

Borrow books and more

w  Search the Library catalogue for books to see what we have available. Login with your WITT email to reserve or renew items.

w Find required textbooks for most our programmes and use them inside the library.

w Use our databases for journal, newspaper and magazine articles and ebooks. Search across multiple databases with a single search.

w Explore the full list list of available databases.

w Create a powerful search with our Search string generator to make your searching faster.

w Not finding what you need? Request to borrow it from another library (interloan) or request a purchase for our collection.
 

Our space

w Find a group study space where you can work and chat as a group.

w Use the quiet zone where you can study without interruptions and noise.

w We have a bookable study room that has a pc and projector.

w Bring your own cup or water bottle to make a drink with our hot or cold water.

w Heat your lunch in the microwave (but no fish please!).

w Lounge around on our bean bags and couches.

w Play a game of chess, Jenga or cards with your friends.
