TRIGONOMETRY

Basic trigonometry

All about angles
In this module, you can study how angles are formed; the names of types and parts of angles; and how to measure angles using a protractor.

Similar triangles
In this module you will study similar triangles, which are triangles of the same shape but different size.

The Pythagorean Theorem
In this module, you will study the Pythagorean Theorem, which describes the amazingly simple and useful relationship that exists between the sides of a right triangle.

Introduction to sine, cosine and tangent
In this module, you learn how to find sines, cosines and tangents, and you'll also learn about a memory device called sohcahtoa.

Find an unknown side length
In this module, you will study how to use trig to find an unknown side length of a right triangle.

Find an unknown angle measure
In this modules, you'll study how to use trig to find an unknown angle measure of a right triangle.

Using trig in the real world

In this module, you will apply your knowledge of sine, cosine and tangent to real-world right triangle problems.
